The Northridge Group Congratulates Gail Boudreaux for Being Named the 2022 Recipient of the NCAA’s Theodore Roosevelt Award

The Northridge Group celebrates Gail Boudreaux, President and CEO of Anthem Inc., who was chosen as the winner of the Theodore Roosevelt Award, the highest honor the NCAA can bestow on an individual. Gail joins a list of past winners that includes four former U.S. Presidents and many other luminaries in U.S. history.

Named after President Theodore Roosevelt, whose concern for the conduct of intercollegiate athletics led to the formation of the NCAA in 1906, the award is given annually to a person who received at least one varsity letter for participation in varsity athletics and who went on to become a distinguished citizen of national reputation based on outstanding life accomplishments.  The awardee, by personal example and contributions to society, exemplifies the ideals to which collegiate athletics programs and amateur sports competitions are dedicated.

A Dartmouth alum, Gail was a four-time All-Ivy League player and three-time recipient of the Ivy League Player of the Year in women’s basketball, as well as All-American and Ivy League Champion in the shot put for the women’s track and field team. The 2022 NCAA Honors Celebration will be held on Wednesday, January 19, at the Indiana Convention Center.
