The Northridge Group, Inc., and its subsidiaries (“Northridge,” also referred to below as “we,” “us” and “our”), are committed to protecting your privacy online.  This privacy policy explains how we protect visitors’ information gathered via the web pages of the northridgegroup.com website (“Northridge website”).   By using the Northridge website, you agree to the use of such information in accordance with this privacy policy.  

Changes to Privacy Statement

We may modify or amend this privacy policy from time to time at our discretion by posting the revised privacy policy in the “Privacy Policy” section of the Northridge website.  The revised privacy policy is effective immediately when posted on the Northridge website.  When we make changes to this policy, we will amend the revision date at the top of this page.  We encourage you to periodically review this privacy policy to be informed about how we are protecting your information.

Information Collection and Use

As a visitor, you do not have to sign in or use any form of a password in order to use the website.  On a voluntary basis, and only for certain features/pages, we invite visitors to provide information such as name, title, company, email and telephone numbers so that we may provide specific information that visitors may request.

The Northridge website may also collect content that you provide, including, but not limited to, postings on any blogs and other social media applications and services that we may provide.

We do not collect information such as age, gender or financial information.  The collected information is used to provide an overview of how people are accessing and using the website. It is not used to profile website visitors.

  • To request that we correct any errors, outdated information, or omissions in user information that you have supplied to us 
  • To request that your user information not be used to contact you 
  • To request that your user information be removed from any solicitation list that we use 
  • To request that your user information be deleted from our records
  • To opt out of being solicited by The Northridge Group or third parties

Log Information, Cookies, and Web Beacons

The Northridge website collects standard Internet log information including your IP address, browser type and language, access times and referring website addresses.  To facilitate and customize your experience with the website, we store cookies on your computer.  A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a visitor’s computer for record-keeping purposes which contains information about that visitor.  We use cookies to save you time while using the Northridge website, remind us who you are, and track and target your interests in order to provide a customized experience.

We may use other industry standard technologies, such as pixel tags and web beacons, to track your use of the Northridge website pages, or we may allow our service provider(s) to use these devices on our behalf.  Pixel tags and web beacons are tiny electronic images that allow the website to count visitors who have accessed a particular page and to access certain cookies.  Pixel tags allow us to measure and improve our understanding of visitor traffic and behavior on our website.
